Feed Horses boarded at Grizzly Peak Stables are fed alfalfa hay in the morning and
wheat or oat hay in afternoon or any special combination. Special attention is given
to each horse's individual nutritional needs and additional supplementation is available upon request.

Riding Arenas
Grizzly Peak stables has both an outdoor (80X130 ft) and an indoor (80X120 ft). Fibar and sand,
all-weather arena available to its boarders year round from 6:00am to 10:00pm. Grizzly
Peak staff regularly grooms and maintains both arenas to provide a consistant riding surface. |
Trails
Grizzly Peak riders have easy access to the trails of Tilden Park and the Bay Area
Ridge Trail which connects to other neighboring regional parks, and EBMUD watershed lands.
We are very fortunate to be situated adjacent to what has been called the "best urban trail
sytem in the world" |
Professional Services
Professional training for you or your horse is available in western riding, dressage
and trail riding. Optional services such as lungeing, turn-outs, clipping, blanketing and
trailering are available by arrangement. A veterinarian visits the stable every Thursday and
staff is available to assist with any treatment when needed. Membership in the local
Tilden Wildcat Horseman's Association provides opportunities for trail riding, overnight
horse camping and networking with other local riders. |
